Razia HamidiHOST

And just the victory that came from Allah SWT and, you know, the moments of self-doubt and fear that Prophet Musa had during those times and work, you know, like there was, it wasn't just one instant, like there were so many tests he had to go through with Firaun to build his thicker muscles.
Razia HamidiHOST
11:54
And one of the things that Allah SWT tells him in Surah Taha is he's going to call Firaun to the message of Allah is to increase in much remembrance to calm his nerves, right? To increase in much remembrance of all the things that Allah could have told him to increase in.
Razia HamidiHOST
12:10
He tells him like, for this difficult journey that you have, increase in remembrance of Allah.

Shaykh went on to explain that the advice as it relates to the rulers has some specific conditions and guidelines attached to it and these guidelines have been discussed when we look at some of the other scholars who have explained this particular hadith like Ibn Rajab al-Hambali and other than him and in his book Jami'ul Ulum wal-Hikam and others the scholars outlined some of these conditions so this is where we finished in the last lesson so we continued we start today's lesson from this point onwards so then the Shaykh went on to explain some of those specific conditions so he went on to say that from them is that first of all the advice that is given to the ruler should be with gentleness and with you know like a gentle light type of speech and wording because the situation of the ruler in the majority of cases in most cases you find that advice that is given to a ruler is usually it's hard upon him it's usually severe upon a ruler unless it is given in a good with nice words and given in a nice way and this is just because most of the people let alone the rulers so even if we leave aside the rulers most people in fact in general overwhelmingly wouldn't really accept advice they wouldn't accept advice unless it was given to them in a really nice way and this is just the nature of most people and so likewise for the rulers So from the conditions therefore is that the ruler is advised with gentleness, with ease, with nice, soft and gentle wording.

6:48
Just like Allah the Mighty Majestic, He said to Musa and Harun, when they were going towards Fir'aun, the Pharaoh, Allah said to them, فَقُولَ لَهُ قَوْلًا لَيِّنًا لَعَلَّهُ يَتَذَكَّرْ أَوْ يَخْشَىٰ Say to him a gentle word, a gentle speech, a soft speech, in order that he may be admonished or that he may have fear Surah Taha verse 44 so from the conditions and from the mannerisms that are to be adopted in this in the issue of giving nasiha is that the nasiha the advice it should be given with gentle wording because if a person was to be harsh and crude and severe and whatever and use that kind of wording maybe this will lead the ruler to reject the truth and reject the advice.
Amjad RafiqGUEST
7:44
And we should understand that the actual meaning of Naseeha is that the one giving the advice is desiring of goodness, is desiring goodness for the one at whom...
Amjad RafiqGUEST
8:02
So if a person was to use harshness and be stern and severe and he knows that this would turn away the person from the truth and from what will benefit him, then how can this be considered Naseeha? It can't be considered Naseeha because the very definition of Naseeha is that a person intends goodness for the one whom he is advising.

15:25
فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ means pray.
Abu Bakr ZoudHOST
15:29
Because in Surah Taha, Allah referred to as-salat as فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكِ وَالصَّلَاةِ in its entirety is تَسْبِحْ of Allah عز و جل and declaring the حَمْد, the praise of Allah عز و جل.
Abu Bakr ZoudHOST
15:40
But the entire Quran towards the end is a great emphasis on as-salat.
Abu Bakr ZoudHOST
15:44
Even in Nabi ﷺ, the end of his life was a great focus and an advice to his ummah about as-salat.

For when we recite the words of Allah in Surah Taha, the Most Merciful rose over the throne.
speaker_0HOST
7:37
The meaning of this in Arabic is that he rose above the throne and is high above it in a manner which is befitting his majesty and his perfection.

وَكَلَّمَ اللَّهُ مُوسَىٰ تَكْلِيمًا In fact, Surah Taha that we started with last time, just jumps into the climax, kind of in the middle of the Qur'an, and it just talks about when Musa alayhi salam sees the bush.
Bilal KaleemHOST
19:46
But what does the bush represent? It's like this light, but Musa alayhi salam is drawn to it, because at this point in the story now, he's yearning, and he's been going on this spiritual journey for 10 years.
Bilal KaleemHOST
19:57
