I think I liked T'Pring the best.

She should have known about Pike a- Pike's accident and condition by monitoring all the subspace chatter mentioned by Commodore Menendez.

That and her apparent in- uh, ignorance of T'Pring could be explained away if the TOS episode Changeling had occurred before Amok Time and The Menagerie.

It's unlikely she would have been re-educated with every possible personal detail after Nomad scanned her memory into oblivion.

I mean, I, I tend to not be obsessed about minor issues like, "Well, she should have me- she should have visited Captain Pike when he was on board the Enterprise during the M- during, uh, The Menagerie parts one and two." But you can always say, "Well, maybe she did, and they just didn't show us that part."

Right.

Or, um, you know, maybe she had extra reactions to T'Pring [clears throat]That they, they didn't show us.

She did have one reaction, like when she sees T'Pring on the Enterprise view screen, she says, "She's beautiful." Um, and that kind of implies that, um, that she hadn't seen T'Pring before, but it's such a minor point, I don't know that I'm gonna hold it against them really.

Having, again, watched these back-to-back, I was like, huh, holy shit.

Arlene Martell playing T'Pring is better in this than Shatner is in the motion picture.

She's really good in it.

She's got her little bit part.

It's like one of my favorite Pike lines is when...

T'Pring and Spot get body swapped and they have the line of like, I think you could probably tell the difference between us.

And he's like, yeah, sure.

And does the little eye look.

I can't really blame him.

I would have chosen Enterprise for a school project too.

And I really wonder what's going on in Lila Arndt's head that she's imagining Spock's brother and Tidal in their pants.

That was what was really

about the Spock body swap with T'Pring and everybody was on Shore League and we saw Dr. Mbenga fishing and everyone just chilling out and everything.

Any excuse to see Babs in that hat again.

There's only one zipline that lets you fly through the heart of downtown Las Vegas, Slotzilla.

Also, Uhura is never in the same room with T'Pring.

At this point, just let it go.

You know what I mean? So this, so this, this situation finally forces Spock to accept that he cannot answer every demand at the same time, which I think was interesting.

And I personally identified with quite a bit of, Now, the thing with T'Pring being there, T'Pring was kind of more of a cameo, right? I think Spock reaches out to her because after the Griffin and the end of his relationship with La'an, he feels, I think anyway, that his ability to quiet his mind through logic has weakened.

You know, to bring his advice is actually pretty sound that too many people need him and he can't help them all.

And trying to do so guarantees failure.
