Some referees can be quite strong and stern, and that's the way of asserting their authority.

Some referees, uh, do it in more subtler ways, I suppose.

You know, a referee like Szymon Marciniak who was, or, or Collina obviously, who were very quite aggressive in their stances, control players very differently and in a w- uh, control the players definitely very differently to people like Clement Turpin who's, you know, uh, quite diminutive, not so aggressive in his body language, but they both reach the end, reach the same goal.

Char- Charlie, what, what was your experience then as a player of being handled by referees? So in terms of what William's talking about there, could you sort of work out their game as, as they were trying to work out you in terms of man manage you?
