In this rulemaking that just closed up on these first four out of a total of 12 rules, Some of the areas that are really good positives is the inclusion of SAM.gov to be the primary location of all contracts, to be the consolidation kind of GSA taking a larger role.

But I'll note that in a lot of areas, it seems that the FAR Council has set itself up to remove maybe statutory, remove examples of good contracting and bad contracting, move those over to the FAR companion piece, which then allows them and also forms So forms and examples that contracting officers can rely upon are now not within the actual FAR text, meaning that those could be changed without regulatory notice and comment process because they've moved those into the FAR.
