What do you call that background, Mist? What's that

background? It's, what is it called? It's a type of musical movement, isn't it? Isn't it called like Slipstream 80s or something like that? Oh, Synthwave.

It reminded me of an 80s action movie or a 80s horror movie that, like, this plays during the credits.

That's basically the definition of Synthwave.

I think there's only like percussion and a couple of synths.

But yeah, a lot of fun.

And I love Synthwave.

Which

is the right one? No wave, cold wave, or dark wave? Are they all the same? Synthwave even, I guess.

They've got elements all that I should know, but I don't think, like, calling them electro, calling them any one of those things doesn't really seem to cut it, to be honest.

I suppose we'll talk about that, but... yeah had you guys heard well I know David heard about them before because he's spoken about it before but Chris yeah I mean I saw them in their first UK tour

I call it synthetic.

And when you're coming up with the visions for your product and the ideas, are you coming up with those with Synthwave in mind, or is it wider than that?

I guess it's wider than that.

So the next one that we will be working on is, I would say, especially good for if you're doing really retro stuff like chiptunes and things like that, so the really lo-fi things, just because it's a funny effect.

So we alternate with who gets to pitch the ideas.

And we try to draw inspiration from all ideas.

But I would say it's not limited to Synthwave at all.

Of course, you can use it in a Synthwave context.
