Can it move? Uh, another example, of course, is Buckminster Fuller And his geodesic do- structures, everyone knows about geodesic domes.

He wrote a book called "Synergetics," and his concept is that systems should be in a balance of compression and extension so that the more you press on them, if you look at, if you ever built a, you know, little dome out of TinkerToys or something when you were a kid, you could get your little brother to actually sit on it because these things were so strong, but they're made out of TinkerToys.

We think that the brain has a lot of the same qualities and properties, but instead of space, we're talking about time.

So you simply alternate the concept of a large structure is a low frequency.

That's the answer.

The references are kind of ancient.

There's, of course, Norbert Wiener's book, Cybernetics, and, um, there's Buckminster Fuller's book, uh, Synergetics.

And, um, but, uh, in all, in all, uh...

[upbeat music] What is it that I'm speaking about? It's a phenomenon called interpersonal synchrony, and I've been pretty curious about it for a while, so I'm continuing my research into the topic so that I can share it with you because like most things in psychology, it's a new way to explain and sort of conceptualize something that we as humans and as human mental health therapists have most likely been experiencing ever since we started our practicums.
