I want Sylvie and Mobius to pair with Loki.

How is she technically in the MCU?

She's Sylvie from Loki.

That's Enchantress? Notice that that Loki, she specifically says that her power, instead of making illusions, she enchants people.

I still see it as a different character.

The season begins with a fractured multiverse showcasing various realities in disarray.

Loki is separated from Sylvie and Mobius.

Loki finds himself in a dystopian reality where Asgard never fell and he is a revered king.

He must convince

his alternate self to help him set things right.

Episode 2, The Council of Variance.

Sylvie and Mobius form an uneasy alliance with versions of Loki from different realities.

They form a council to pool their knowledge and resources to combat the multiversal threat.

The architecture and multiverse rules of the TVA represent some of the most meaningful contributions of lore and logic that we've ever gotten from any MCU title ever.

And that's before you get to the incredible writing and music and visuals and character development of all-time MCU greats like our Loki variant L1130, Mobius, Renslayer, OB, B-15, Victor Timely, Sylvie, and hey, y'all, Miss Minutes.

If one is to understand anything in the Marvel multiverse, one must watch and at least try to understand Loki.

So in this podcast, Jessica Clements and I talk about the lingering questions we still have from the series several years later and how both seasons ultimately represent an original plan for the Kang the Conqueror version of Avengers 5 and Avengers 6. that still deserves to be revisited in the future of Marvel Beyond Secret Wars.

So they arrest her when she was a little girl and just basically deprived her of having a life.

Episode four, a lot of like goofy kind of stuff happens where at this point, you know, Sylvie is being interrogated.

Loki's put through this kind of loop where Lady Sif continues to, beat his ass and he has to go through this over and over again the tva is just like this interesting weird circus of all these different things uh and by the end of episode four a lot of characters get pruned i mean um mobius gets pruned because he kind of agrees that loki is still redeemable rent slayer and mobius have this interesting relationship that we find out that rent slayer is like kind of a judge who's stuck into this position of power carrying out the orders of the of the tva in ways that she doesn't always agree with but Mobius is kind of seeing that Loki and what he's trying to do and what Sylvie is trying to do is worth redeeming.

He's kind of dancing around and singing for some reason and... and forgetting that he needs to be in disguise.

And it's female Loki, what was her name? Sylvie, she's the one who has her wits about her and she has to remind him that you're being a real idiot right now.

And so it was things like that, that even with Loki, oh, the dressing downs he received repeatedly, right? Even from Owen Wilson's character, where he says to him like, calm down for a second, you know, or him repeatedly having to affirm that he's better than the other Loki.

How come the other Loki has more protection or security than him? And it's hard to then remember that when you look back on the first Avengers film where Loki's this formidable, you know, almost like, I think Nerd Erotic said this on the stream I did last week on Critical Drinkers thing, where he said it almost, it was like he was resurrected from hell, right? But That's how he was introduced into the Avengers as this really formidable force.

Yeah, body to body, consciousness to consciousness.

My first thought is, is that Sylvie from Loki? Yeah.

She used to take people over in that same way.

And also, you only saw her briefly as a shadow.

The outline.

Yeah, cow type thing overhead.

Typical Sylvie.
