In Central Ohio, 20-year-old Caden Ratcliffe will spend a quarter of a century in prison for a string of drive-by shootings, a robbery and possession of automatic weapons in Columbus.

In northwest Ohio, a pickup truck crashed into a power pole in Sylvania, leaving 1,100 in the dark and closing a local road yesterday.

In northeast Ohio, East Cleveland Mayor Sondra Morgan says the city is turning the tide against violence and crime, citing 13 felony arrests and 12 illegal gun recoveries.
