Sybok

Oh my God.

[laughs] Well, and Ethan Peck too, 'cause he had to play this, like, Sybok that wasn't really Sybok-

Yes

... that was over the top.

Um, but there are just some, so many great, so many moments where the, the gimmicks are redeemed by just, like, one...

You know, whether it's Paul Wesley and his foppish hair or Spock as Sybok, you know? Like-

[laughs]

[laughs] There are so many moments that are just like, "You know what? That's so brilliant, I'm willing to let everything else go." [laughs] I just wanna jump back to episode eight.

[laughs]

"... we have, we have a Sybok who looks like the twin of Spock who's got this long, flowy hair and hamburger meat hanging out of his shirt."

[laughs]

"And he's got all this stuff going on." And you're just like, "W- w- why?" I mean, why?

I think the Serene Squall has a whole lot of fun bullshit that could happen across a season with, like, Captain Angel not being discovered right away, maybe two or three episodes in.

Um, Sybok being broken out of prison for real, not just attempting it.

Uh, played of course by the stunt casting that Will and I have discussed, Zachary Quinto.

[laughs] I mean-

You have been abandoned, and you wish the others would come back, but they never did."

Do you think Sybok could've taken away Armus' pain?

I believe that.

Yeah.
