Sweet pea

So yeah, you can grow your pea shoots and micro greens indoors for great results.

Next up are sweet peas.

Now again you can sow these in March, April time but if you sow them now it provides stronger roots from them and they sometimes produce flowers a lot earlier if you start them off now.

And obviously like I always say when they get to about 8 inches, 6 to 8 inches pinch the tops off and they'll start bushing out providing more flowers on them and getting a better display from them.

The flowers might be a bit smaller but you'll get a lot more flowers on them.

So yeah I've got all my sweet peas growing in my polytunnel.

I'm going to be pinching them out this week because they've got to the right height.

But we'll film that as well so that if you are on our Facebook page you'll be able to see what we do for pinching them out.

so the next job of the day is filming content yes i could spend more time gardening but i do like to film some content as well as i like to film a week's worth of content so that you get stuff every single day down on the allotment different videos whether it's a few photos just so that i can keep sharing stuff every day yes it does make like me look like i'm at the plot every day but i'm not i'm really i'm not i'm only there two days a week at the moment so i do like to film a lot of stuff in advance and get it all ready for you and obviously as november's coming up it'll be what vegetables to plant in november what flowers to plant in november and the roundup of october we'll also be doing the same episodes on the podcast as well so if you don't watch my videos and just listen to my podcasts you'll still hear the same things so you're not missing out at all And I hope that you'll be able to enjoy it.

I've also recorded some bits on my sweet peas and also my new plug plants as well.

How well they're all getting on and sharing them.

We do need to pinch out my sweet peas soon.

They're getting to that size where they need pinching out.

I'll just have to try and make time next week to try and get that done.

It's like diamond trellis and I plan to have that down the side of my seating area and then I'm going to be trying to grow some roses up against it.

so it should look pretty nice once it's all growing knowing my luck the bindweed will find its way out and it'll grow in between all the trellis but we'll keep it out of that we'll definitely keep it out of that but that's my vision anyway to have the nice trellis down the side of the plot and you never know I can always grow some sweet peas up it or other climbing plants but we'll have a look we'll see what we're doing but I want to get some nice roses on the plot that's my plan for this year we have planted a lot of nice roses last month some shrub roses near my entrance but I'm thinking of a couple of like David Austin ones that smell really nice and gorgeous while I'm sat there having my brew thinking about all the next jobs that I'm going to be doing So yeah, that's my plan anyway.

So that's going to keep us busy next week and possibly the week after.

So it's going to be full on time work down there.

But it fills the bed up and hopefully we'll get some great results from it.

So yeah, I've watered all them and I've watered all my seedlings, what I've got growing.

I've got some Calendula, I've got some Sweet Peas growing, I've got some Poppies growing.

My Sweet Peas are doing really well and I've done a video on them so I'll be showing you them in the week to come.

I have it split into spring and autumn sections, and I don't really reuse the beds, 'cause I really struggle to make that work.

Like f- like the easiest example I can say is my sweet peas are in the beds from, they need to be in the beds from March to December, 'cause I have to overwinter them to get...
