It was usually Jeff because it was a very unusual name back then.

And I started back in the industry really back in 1999, working at Portland, Oregon, a place called Swan Island.

In an LTO period, it's kind of a business called Roadway Express.

And the job was answering the phone's Recording shipments, data entry.

She's quite striking looking.

And she's been in the shipyard since the spring at Swan Island in Portland, getting major maintenance and upgrades and repairs.

So I think people have been thinking about this, which prompted the question to me, looking for her on Vessel Finder and other AIS sites and found no trace of her here or elsewhere.

And that's not usually the case.

It's 4:12, and businesses near the I-5 southbound closure feel the squeeze as drivers just avoid the area.

KXL's John Eric Smith got a chance to speak with a fast food place on Swan Island about the hit they're taking.

Will Young is the operations manager for Face Plant, a fast food joint on Swan Island.

He says some nearby employers told workers to stay home during the I-5 closure, and that's really cut into the plant-based restaurant's lunch business.

This last weekend, sales were down overall about $4,000.
