And I've seen people, you've seen people that have walked that spiritual path.

Of course, these gurus like Pramukh Swami Maan Samaj are the pinnacles, but we've seen the other Swamis that are very senior.

They have also walked that path.

And their spirituality leads to a life that is very happy for them and also happy for the people around them.

Dear listeners, we welcome you to another episode of Shravanam, Mananam, Nidhya Dhyasinam, a program where we've been going through the Samakos discourses of Swami.

This is season 3 of that series and in this series, we've been going through the 1973 Samashavas discourses Beautiful set of discourses compared to the other summer showers that we went through 1990 and 91.

This is a much longer series.

And this series is on the work Bhajagovindam by Adi Shankara and his disciples.

And as we've been seeing, the work Bhajagovindam itself is a beautiful manual for a sadhaka.

What are the different things one has to keep in mind? as they progress on the spiritual journey and Swami is taking each one of these verses.

In fact, not all the verses.

Sairam to all of you! It's a blessing from Swami that I am getting this opportunity to share a few insights that I have gained because of Swami's grace during this auspicious Navaratri.

This particular insight that I have gained is based on Swami's message.

Actually, in Trayi, once Swami asked all of us any questions like that.

Every time in Trayi session, Swami typically, you know, many times Swami starts, anyone wants to speak or sometimes He'll say any questions.

So, one such occasion, we had an opportunity to ask Swami, Swami, please tell us about Bhur Bhur Swaha.

And then Swami explained to us over an hour about why Bhuvu is considered as materialization, Bhuvaha as vibration and Subhaha as radiation.

Then Swami went on to relate this to Bhuvu is this physical body.

So he came to Suryastha-san and the big bag of veg and fruit he just put in Srila Prabhupada's lap.

He said, here, that's for you, Swami.

The devotees were a bit shocked.

And then Srila Prabhupada said, that's love.

Many companies hold on to products that are losing money.

That's same as Swami's teachings.

We're holding on to attachment that has no worthiness.

It's same story.

By this time, four or five years had gone by and this flame had been burning.

And so I actually had a long conversation with my father.

You know, I don't feel like I'm practicing Swami's teachings.

I don't feel like Swami is happy with what we're doing here, not happy with me specifically.

We've done the 1990 in the season one of the series, 1991 in the season two.

And we've been going through this series of discourses that Swami gave on the work Bhaja Govindam by Adi Shankara and his disciples.

And we've completed 14 discourses in this series.

We're going to be starting the 15th discourse.

And, uh, this is in a way continuation of the topic that Swami started in the 14th discourse.

This discourse was delivered by Swami on the 4th of June, 1973.

And, uh, before we give you a short summary of what Swami covered in the previous discourse, because as I said, this one is pretty much a continuation of that, and we go into this particular discourse.

Let's invite Brother Sai Prakash to join all of us.

Will never be false.

So at that time, he told me to come to West and help in Western preaching, though I could not follow at that time.

But I think that Swamiji will-- has managed all these things.

My English language, so poor, so poor.

I cannot express my whole idea.

Secondly, I have heard when I was with him.

I am hearing from about five or six years that all the senior devotion, devotees who are so sincere and work hard for him and help him and serve him like myself, they are, uh, not respected, not respected, and they are neglected, and thus they have become bound to neglect them.

I know some of them that even they are so sincere, so sincere, and they want to serve Swamiji, the Paramahamsa, but they are getting no chance from Swamiji's devotees, especially leaders.

And he did not have anyone who was a mechanic or a driver, so all alone with ladies and children and trying to navigate through this trial that has just unfolded.

Somehow, he told everyone in the car that Swami is going to help us because he really felt that there is nothing that he can do.

Unless there is divine intervention, he will not be able to do anything.

And something within him told him that Swami is there, Swami will do something, and that is what he told to all the family members.

He said that, you know, we are going to come out of this, and after that we are going to Puttaparthi, and we are going to tell Swami how difficult it was and how He helped us.

Somehow he had that conviction that Swami will do something.

And no sooner did he said this to all the members of his family, a Jeep came there and gave five liters of petrol in a tin.

And not only petrol, this person in the Jeep also gave a big cake of soap, and he said, "Use it to stop the leak by plugging the hole with the soap." And so this IAS officer did the same, plugged the hole, filled the tank with those five liters of petrol, and the car started.

How did Bhagawan enter your life in 1975?

Yes, as they say, we had to go to America to find Swami.

I was born and raised in Baroda, Gujarat, India.

I couldn't sit still.

And I kind of had those thoughts like, what's the point of doing this? There's other shit to be doing with my time, you know? And then one day this yoga Swami found me and he came up to me and he
