Swami Rama

So true.

You know, there's a very interesting, uh, story is recorded in the book, Living With The Himalayan Masters by Swami Rama.

Mm-hmm.

In a sense, it is the state that we all are in.

See, God comes with, to give us the ultimate, and He wants to bless us with the ultimate, provided we surrender to Him and then do what the Lord wants us to do.

But oftentimes we, [laughs] we have our own conditions in between.

So there is this interesting story when Swami Rama was a young boy.

He would, uh, be given only one meal a day.

And then I tried to dig more and more.

So one book I read when I was in, I think, 12th standard, 11th or 12th, I don't remember exactly, was this Swami Rama's book, Living with Himalayan Masters.

So this book had a tremendous influence on me

because it spoke about great spiritual masters living, who lived among us not 1000, 2000, 3000 years ago, not in some itiyas or puranas, but amongst us just 20, 30 years, 50 years, 100 years back.
