Then with the bat in hand for the Empresses, well, it was 47 from Amie Hunter paired up with 57 from Meg Lanning at the opening spots to give the Empress a chance to win, but some crucial wickets at crucial times, including the wickets of Lanning and Hunter, would mean that the Tridents would walk away with a three run win.

The Barbados Tridents women were back in action this time against the Guyana Amazon Warriors women.

The Tridents, well, they had Hayley Matthews, the captain, opening the batting, and she would score 50 off of 37, alongside Kieran Navgair, who would score 38 off of 29, before Suzie Bates would get in at the end, scoring 22 off 11 to rocket the Tridents to a score of 158 to offset the three wicket haul of Sheneta Grimand.

Then for the Warriors with the bat in hand, Kazmin Brittes was brilliant opening the batting, scoring 46 off of 41, with Shamaine Campbelle getting 36 off of 28, and two wickets for Appie Fletcher just wouldn't be enough as the Warriors would go on to win by five wickets with six balls remaining.

The Edinburgh Castle Rockers would take on the Dublin Guardians, and the Castle Rockers would get the chance to bat first.

So yeah, I did the England-New Zealand match, which was a real poignant one for New Zealand because there were a number of players that were playing like their very last match for New Zealand.

So that was really lovely because it was like a guard of honour.

So yeah, I mean, it's, it's one of those, isn't it? It was a very, it's a very unusual circumstance but, you know, in all fairness to Phoebe, she knew straight away she was...

You know, she's always pretty livid when she gets out, but she was absolutely distraught because she knew that she wasn't there and all of a sudden, you know, then she's gone to ramp it and she's 10 yards further on because she's moved six yards before and then obviously, you know, another sort of four steps to take the catch.

How aware are you of stuff like that when you are batting? Like, you say like that Susie Bates said she felt she should have said something.

Is that kind of on the non-striker as well to keep an eye on how fielders are moving when the bowler is running up?
