I'm your host, Sam Scherr, and this month we're talking with Anita Pabarka-Fox about mind waste.

Today we're joined by Anita Pabarka-Fox, Technical and Innovation Lead in Geoscience at Klone Krippenberger and Honorary Professor with the Sustainable Minerals Institute at the University of Queensland.

Anita's work focuses on the geochemistry and mineralogy of mine waste, with a particular emphasis on predicting and managing environmental risks across the life of mine.

Her research has been instrumental in advancing the concept of environmental geometallurgy, integrating mineralogical, geochemical and geotechnical data to better understand how mine waste behave from early exploration through to closure.
