Sustainable Development Goal 5

So, yes, we directly address SDG 1, ending poverty.

And yes, we do target SDG 5, which is gender equality.

So we are looking at that.

Our process is anchored on what is known as the poverty graduation model.

So let's talk about the UN.

How effectively does UN-led frameworks, like we've got the SDGs now, SDG 5 is gender equality, SDG 16 is peace, justice and strong institutions, which you could kind of count in there as well.

So how well do these frameworks from the UN translate into these reforms that we need in the leadership of our world, particularly as it pertains to women leading?

Yes, I think the SDGs are a good idea as a blueprint, provide a global blueprint for how to measure progress and which directions the world should take.

It's the difference between a girl in a classroom and a girl out of one inside a single financial year.

I said at the start of this series that SDG 5 is the multiplier, the goal that moves the other 16.

Multipliers run in both directions.

That's what we're watching.
