Suspicious Minds (Midnight Show)

Because I love you too much, baby.

Why can't you see what you're doing to me? When you don't believe a word I say We can go on together With suspicious minds And we can build our dreams On suspicious minds So if an old friend I know Drop by to say hello.

Would I still see suspicion in your eyes? Here we go again.

Asking where I've been.

You can't see these tears are real, I'm crying.

We can't go on together.

We're suspicious minds.

And we can't build our dreams on suspicious minds.

And of course...

The highlight, as most Elvis concert films is, is an incredible performance live of Suspicious Minds that the film also ends on.

And I don't know why, but that song, especially whenever Elvis does it live, is always the highlight of any Elvis performance.

concert that i've ever watched um i just think it's like his best live song and always his best live performance in any um of the things that i've watched uh but yeah highly recommend people check it out um founded on canopy and was definitely far and away the best thing i've watched uh since the last time we got together um

And that's my favorite Elvis.

I mean, Suspicious Minds, Burning

Love,

Kentucky Rain.

And she said, yes, you can call me my little mate.

So my little mate, Kitty Masters, said that her favourite Elvis song, keeping in mind she is way too young to be a fan of Elvis, so this is impressive that she said this, her favourite Elvis song is Suspicious Minds.

So for Kitty, who does all of the hard work behind the scenes on Luke Grant's show, here is Elvis with Suspicious Minds.

Presley, I tell you what, everyone's got an opinion on which Elvis song is their favourite.

John's saying Jailhouse Rock.

That comes from mum was always a big Elvis fan.

But I do love him singing Suspicious Minds.

I think that's a really good song when I hear him singing that.

And Don't Ask Me to Sing It.

Hey, Dan.

Fine Young Cannibals, Suspicious Minds.

Oh, yes.

Fine Young Cannibals-

Yes

...

Suspicious Minds.

The original from?

It was unreal.

They also did an Elvis cover of Suspicious Minds, which fucking blew me away how good it was.

And it was like in the middle.

One thing the Talk Shards do at every show, every member of the band can play every instrument.

So they will cycle off instruments throughout the show.

And they did that in the middle of Suspicious Minds where they just kept singing the chorus of like Caught in Your Trap, Can't Get Out.

And while like Casey stepped off the drums and picked up the bass and then Alan went to the drums and they swapped everything around and then went back in to finish the song on different

instruments.
