Um, but what Susan Redline once told me, she said, "You know, it's more like a bronze standard." And the reason that is, it's im- it's imperfect, and how do we know something is an imperfect measurement when it's considered the gold standard, and it's the most in-depth measurement objectively that we currently have? The way we know it's uncertain is because of something called inter-rater reliability, that when you have two or more experts and they are asked to rate an epoch, to stage an epoch, we oftentimes will not have perfect agreement, and it's in the mid-eighty percentiles around.
