So just a heads up before we dive in, I'm actually going to let Wikipedia do a lot more of my homework than I normally would, because the Wikipedia article on this shit is amazing.

It's got that classic, you know, this article is in a fight with itself style that we've come to love from woo merchants desperately trying to outmaneuver Susan Gerbic or whatever.

But the snake handlers are arguing in two opposite directions.

It's like on the one hand, they want Wikipedia readers to know that there's more to them than just snake handling.

Those deaths are all the ones that can be definitively sourced, given that the church and therefore all the families of the deceased and in all likelihood the deceased themselves all have a vested interest in disguising the true cost of this shit.

The real number is almost certainly far higher.

OK, I feel like Susan Gerbic could go on Wikipedia and just add any exponent right there next to their number.

And they'd think it was a footnote.

So today's video, I wanted to sit down with Susan Gerbic to discuss the issues that she has had by being attacked by the sort of fringe UFO community, the ones that kinda exist in that conspiracy conspirituality kinda area of the internet.

The story is interesting.

I have been wanting to kinda cover it, and I did talk about it a little bit in a recent stream, so I thought I'd sit down with Susan, we can explain what's going on in the story, and you guys can kinda just learn about what's happening to her and what comes from these other communities.

I'll just release, like, the whole interview separately as, like, a full thing, 'cause we just jumped around to a bunch of different topics.
