It's good to know that none of us stand alone and I recognise my colleagues standing on the steps of Parliament who are standing with us as well.

This reform simply must pass.

But work started in 2019 when the abortion reform bill was passed, and my Liberal colleague, Damien Tudor Hope, tried desperately to get this reform in the legislation.

Parliament said at that point, really? There's abortions because of sex selection? How about we put a statement in the bill that says, well, we don't care for that.

Look, the truth is the government decides the order of business.

The government decides what bills are important and what bills should come first in debate.

And the last week we sat, the government decided every day that the e-bike law could sit down the bottom of the list.

The only reason it's not getting passed is because the decisions that they're making.

And Tired of Chris Minns thinking that all of his problems belong in the upper house.

He should talk to his own people in the ALP.

Why not? You might actually be eligible for compensation this time.
