She was really good friends with Queen Mary, bequeathed a bunch of her jewels to the royal family when she died.

She has this big, grand house in, in Surrey in the English countryside, and it's now a museum.

And I noticed in the dining room, there's an old seating chart on one of the side tables that you can look at, and it had been placed there, I think, because at this dinner party, this particular dinner party, King Edward VII had been there.

So they're probably displaying it to show that how she hosted royalty and that she had these grand weekends.

Yeah.

So Jimmy actually asked me to go down to where he played down in Epsom, Surrey.

And we arranged to go down.

I was meant to be there for about a week.

And Andrews, uh, is 350, 360 staff.

Um, we have 40 offices that span across, uh, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, and then we come across into the South East, London, Surrey, Kent, and, and Essex.

So the south of England.

South of England.

I'm based just outside of London, so a little village called Thames Ditton.

It is on the edge of Surrey.

And the medium I use, well, it's very much a mixed media construction that I do.

Tends to be offcuts of wood, found objects.

I'm

from Surrey.

I'm from Epsom.

I've got my mockney accent going on.

There was a bustle outside, and Mrs. Hudson opened the door to usher in two robust and official-looking individuals, one of whom was well known to us as Inspector Gregson of Scotland Yard, an energetic, gallant, and, within his limitations, a capable officer.

He shook hands with Holmes and introduced his comrade as Inspector Baynes of the Surrey Constabulary.

We are hunting together, Mr. Holmes, and our trail lay in this direction.

He turned his bulldog eyes upon our visitor.

This fellow could speak English, and did his housekeeping for him.

Then there was a wonderful cook, he said, a half-breed whom he had picked up in his travels, who could serve an excellent dinner.

I remember that he remarked what a queer household it was to find in the heart of Surrey, and that I agreed with him, though it has proved a good deal queerer than I thought.
