We planted the seed.

She did sing Surfing USA at her chorus concert in the spring, so she, like, knew the Beach Boys.

When we tried to talk about John Stamos and Uncle Jesse, we realized we failed as parents, and she has not seen Full House, or at least not enough to know who he is off the top of her head, so... we have some training and conditioning to do in the next six weeks.

Um, but she ended up making the decision that she wanted to go to Epcot cause she realized it was food and wine festival.

The literal, my Beach Boys patient zero is, I remember hearing my brother playing Surfing USA out of the family computer with the speakers attached to the monitor like dog ears.

He had the Sounds of Summer thing that he'd got off LimeWire.

And so that's the first one I can remember hearing was Surfing USA.

I remember hearing Wouldn't It Be Nice and just being kind of fascinated by that intro.

That kind of sounds like a sort of wind-up toy box or something.
