I still want to try one of those and play around with it for dual-screen emulation.

As you're scrolling through, a square screen, like I used to use on my Surface Duo, a square screen kind of gives you a better singular look at a photo.

It's a little bit nicer IMO when you want to look, dedicate more of the resolution of the screen just to looking at one photo in that kind of social media share.

And like I've been saying for a while, if you appreciate photography and you're not just looking at social media hype beasts and popularity and constantly being bombarded by snippets of short form video, Flickr is a far superior photo sharing experience than Instagram.
