Superyacht

Today, it's all about boats.

I'm out on the water finding out exactly how they're made, from handcrafted cruisers to these state of the art super yachts using cutting edge technology and with looks to kill.

How much would we be looking at for one of these?

20 million euros.

Better for the boat, more enjoyable for the crew.

And this is where carbon fibre comes back into the story.

Not only is it used to make the hulls of super yachts, because it's so strong and light, it's perfect for the sails as well.

So this is an example of some of the cloth we might use here which is a carbon fibre cloth which is laminated with yarns of carbon fibre going along there and then on here is just a polyester yarn which is just used to help hold it in place.

We have a gentleman, successful in the UK.

He went from working for absurd salaries on super yachts to selling kilns on Shopify in the UK.

All right, that's good enough hook for me.

I need to know more.

I can maintain that independence, but then also like fulfill, you know, other interests and hobbies.

It's enabled me to do a lot.

I opened with like, man, you went from super yachts to kilns.

Walk me through that journey.

I don't...

I mean, I've never been on one of these super yachts, obviously, but I've been on yachts.

Yeah, I've been on boats that-

It's not that great.
