[outro jingle]From the excellent album Tell It to the Mountain by Axel Boman and Superpitcher on Blue Ruin Records, which is a sort of sub-label of Studio Barnhus.
S

This is Birdwatchers, and, uh, Axel Boman, he's one of the founders of Studio Barnhus, and he sh- really should get more props.
S
76:56Stinky JimHOST
He did that excellent Talibah- Talibaman album with, uh, John Talabot a wee while back, and now he's with Superpitcher, and he's got exceptional taste, and, uh, it's a lovely record, this, so I strongly suggest you check it.

But I guess, like, maybe from breaking free from Super Meyer, who he did together with Michael Meyer and Super Pitcher, did this very, like, big project.

It does make me feel like I'm skipping I would say down a mountain rather than up but maybe there's something in the exhilarating steps of the journey and like you think that you're the highest thing but then you look up you see the birds it's also amazing to look down and see birds I remember seeing at first and only time I've seen vultures it was from high up in the mountains and then looking across and down you could see the vultures sort of swooping around which actually they're given a bad rep vultures but they're really good they just clean up everything yeah well that I'm sure we'll be revisiting this album

He's been in the game a long time as well, and together they've crafted something, um, really beautiful.
S

A lot of it is down tempo and really takes its time.
