Superorganism

What you just described probably is obvious to many of our listeners.

It actually rhymes quite a bit with a frankly that I'm, uh, my little Friday monologues that I'm putting together called The Anatomy of the Superorganism, where there-- the, the global economic system, it functions like a body and there's, there's blood and there's, uh, organs and there's breathing, and it cares about its own survival.

And so things like AI and military and the currency markets and the bond markets and energy access are way more relevant to its survival than the well-being of people or the health of ecosystems.

And what ends up happening is bond market is relevant today, and a coral reef or a whale doesn't even register because there's nowhere for it to register.
