I did a list on my blog a couple years ago of the best needle drops in cinema in the 21st century.

And I want to pull up very quickly where I had this Supermassive Black Hole on that list.

Because I had it quite high.

But I got really into Paramore and News after this came out.

I'm trying to concentrate.

Who else was there? It's a rock band.

They sing Supermassive Black Hole.

If you're familiar with the Twilight series, there's a scene in Twilight where they're playing baseball and there's a song playing over the baseball game.

If you're familiar with Twilight, you know that scene.

Later that night, Bella is then surprised by her creepy, codependent vampire boyfriend, who kisses her for the first time in her bedroom, a moment that the Twilight books actually have happen in the forest next to Bella's car.

Edward then invites Bella to join his family in playing a game of baseball, taking advantage of the thundering weather to mask the sound of them launching baseballs at supersonic speeds as Supermassive Black Hole by Muse plays in the background.

Muse's inclusion in the movie brought great delight to writer Stephenie Meyer, as she apparently listened to a ton of Muse music while writing her books.

So that was a little bit of a full circle moment there for her.
