the imaginary story of Superman Red and Superman Blue, and for the man who had, not for the man, whatever happened to the man of tomorrow, where it kind of came down to this choice between Lois and Lana.

And in the case of Superman Red, Superman Blue, it wasn't a choice he could make.

It was literally that he was split in two, and one was interested in Lois and one was interested in Lana, and that was the resolution.
