Scorpio would continue to get big wins throughout the early part of 93, defeating Scotty Flamingo at clash of the champions, 22 and Chris Benoit and a great match at super brawl three, which is on our list.

Benoit's never – I mean, you can say what you want to say about him, but he never really had a bad match, I can think of, off the top of my head.

Well, the crazy thing with all this, too, is Benoit has that banger of a match at Super Brawl with Too Cold, and then he has a pretty good match here at Slamboree.

They don't do anything with him.

We're calling it Spring Breakout.

And if you recall, which I don't expect you to, Arne, the last time we left off, which was several weeks ago, Hollywood Hogan got his win back against Rowdy Roddy Piper at Super Brawl after having put Piper over clean at Starrcade back in December.

Why is that popping up on the screen still? How do I get this Super sticker off my screen? We really appreciate it, Ducati guy, but for whatever reason – There it goes.

Anyway, so Starrcade, let's pick it up.

Piper got the clean win, Starrcade back in December.

And something I didn't mention in the previous episode that I would love to get your take on was that years after this, Scott Hall, the bad guy, he recalled a conversation that he had with Roddy Piper ahead of Super Brawl.

Apparently Piper wasn't keen on getting pinned by Hogan at super brawl.

It'll be on February 22nd.

It will be at SuperBrawl VIII.

Well, you know, Bischoff and Hollywood Hogan came to Sold Out thinking that Rowdy Roddy Piper and JJ Dillon were just gonna hand him the world's championship on a gold or silver platter.

Uh-uh, you're gonna have to earn it, Hogan, and you're gonna have to earn it the hard way, in that ring.

No, I'm not surprised whatsoever.

They're lower than Scott Hall.

Well, for the New World Order, and their factions, and their fighting they're having within, SuperBrawl is headed for them very, very quickly.

Hollywood Hogan will get a chance to go in the ring against Sting to vie for the vacated World Heavyweight Championship at SuperBrawl.

It's like, yeah, that makes sense why they're so great.

You know, I also feel fairly confident in saying that No matter what, when we get to Superbrawl 92, we're going to get some freaking awesome dangerous alliance.

So Superbrawl 92, I can't wait to get to that because it's one of my all-time underrated pay-per-views.

So no matter what, I know we're going to get some good tag team shit in that one.

So hopefully we'll have something along the way that equals some of this footage that we saw here tonight.

Flying Brian and Steve Austin defeat Johnny Gunn and The Z-Man.

Davey Boy Smith, is that him making his WCW debut? Is that him making his WCW debut? That is When does that air? So he made his WCW debut at Superbrawl.

He'd had a couple of matches before that, but they were then airing afterwards.

So he's in his infancy of his WCW run here.

Folks, we are back.

It's today we take a look at SuperBrawl VI from WCW.

SuperBrawl VI was shown on pay-per-view on February 11th, 1996 from the Bayfront Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.

There were 7,200 in attendance, and the show did tw- 210,000 buys.

We start out with our intro discussing some of the matches we will see.

Tony Schiavone welcomes us to SuperBrawl.

He, Bobby Heenan, and Dusty Rhodes will call the matches.

They discuss what we're going to see.

And it goes off the air mid-Stinger splash, too, so you don't even get anything out of it, really.

Yeah, and so what do they do? Why did they do that to set up another rematch at Super Bowl? So, hey, WCW fans, you know that result you paid to see after waiting 16 months? Well, you're going to wait another two months, and it's not going to mean as much there.

Yeah, I absolutely, I will say though, I agree with your principle about needing to establish you don't need WC versus the NWO to draw.

That is something that I think will be coming shortly anyway.

But I just think that because we're at such a major crossroads with the NWO story, which we're going to be talking about in a little bit, and given what I know we both want to be doing at Superbrawl, My fear with Bret and Flair would be that it would be introducing a distraction, an obstacle that risks watering down the focus.

Coming out of Starrcade 98, if it's done properly, Hogan is absolutely furious with Bret Hart, obviously.
