Super League

We are going to set up for you the new 2026-2027 men's...

Basketball Super League season and the Aegis Ligo All-Stars roster.

I think almost all of them are here tonight.

We'll give you their singlet numbers.

been involved for nearly 60 years with this club now, and it's grown from strength to strength.

It's just an unbelievable amount of kids that are playing the game.

The Super League team has held its own the last couple of years, and we're looking to move on this year and do something, maybe something better, you know?

You've been a man of all sports as well, but you've had a soft spot all your life for basketball.

depends what you're looking forward to get out of it if you're trying to get another job Maybe not.

Unfortunately, the position in the Irish Super League at the moment is quite difficult to get another job after.

Especially if you have aspirations to play in this country and go back to the ESLB.

It's already kind of a bit of a tragedy that you have to leave the country in order to play in your own country.

But you're not going to really turn many heads doing much numbers in the Irish Super League as a British player.

but if you're just looking again you're just looking for an opportunity to play that's the whole reason I went yeah you just want to go play like I wasn't comfortable with my role on the team anymore like I wanted to continue improving as a basketball player and you know I'm so thankful for them trusting me giving me that opportunity to just like express my game and continue to learn continue to fail and do my best to lead a team and if you're looking for that kind of opportunity just taking that as what it is absolutely absolutely it's like and find a way to make it work, yeah, I'd recommend going to do it.

But, yeah, you do have to understand the reality.
