When people talk about the late 90s, they usually go straight to big moments like One in a Million and Supa Dupa Fly.

Timbaland suddenly became this producer everybody wanted and changing the whole feel of radio in the process.

But here's the thing.

I mean, I think all those four bands released huge albums in 97, didn't they? But also in 97, Homework, Daft Punk, 13 Blur, Ladies and Gentlemen, Floating in Space by Spiritualized, OK Computer, The Fat of the Land, Radiator by Superhands, which I really loved.

Super Duper Fly, Missy Elliott, New Forms by Ronnie Sizer, Mercury Prize, Spice World, I'll Be Missing You was number one for about 10 years.

Also, I'll Be Missing You and so I think it was the year that Biggie and Tupac, I think Tupac died before Biggie, if I'm not mistaken.

And I don't know many people that could do an album in two weeks now because we can really, we've got all the time in the world apparently to do that.

Or like we can use AI to like take people's like stems and the whole thing's a mess.
