Sunshine Daydream

You can bring up anything, you know? But it's interesting 'cause the, I've been going through a really huge, uh, Grateful Dead phase lately, and, uh, the other night I had some friends over, and we wanted to watch 2001: A Space Odyssey, and I was like, "I have the DVD." So I went and got the, my DVD, you know, which is so rare, you know, more and more, but I've got this huge DVD collection of, uh, all these movies I've loved or whatever, like all these Wes Anderson movies or Kubrick films, whatever.

So then a couple nights later, I was really wanting to see, uh, Sunshine Daydream, the Grateful Dead concert film from '72.

Uh, and I was looking online, and it's not on any of the streaming things or anything, you know? So I was like, I was like, "Oh, man." And then I was like, I went on Discogs and I found the DVD, you know? So it's like, and I got that and the Grateful Dead movie, uh, which I've never seen either, and I was like, "Man, that's gonna be fun to have everybody over and, and share this experience, you know, of popping this DVD into the player," and poof, you know, we're there with the Dead for a little while, you know, and, and-

Right

It's amazing.

If you watch the motion picture, if you're watching Sunshine Daydream, they have great visuals in the background while Jerry's noodling.

And you're just like, this is incredible.

It's just perfect music and perfect imageries in the back, images in the back where the imagery that they show just matches the noodling perfectly.

Bobby singing, Donna's into it.

They're going crazy.

Jerry hit some beautiful notes at the very tail end of the Sunshine Daydream.

That's something to focus on.
