And you're going for it.

It kind of reminds me of Sunset Riders with the Western theme.

Yeah, Sunset Riders is such a good game.

And it's the gunplay and everything.

It's really slick, so I recommend it.

Would you look at that?

It's like Sunset Riders, but dairy filled.

Well, there's two strands.

There's egg corns, which is famously misheard expressions, which you see a lot written down on the internet these days.

But there was also... misheard song lyrics um so perhaps we should we should start a misheard speech samples uh segment um i bet you there's loads i'll bet yeah especially because of the you know obviously the lower fidelity of uh speech samples back in the day uh more speech samples later um sunset riders uh listener if you don't know it's a 2d side-scrolling wild west themed walk ride and gun game Ben, in his own video, described it as Contra with cowboys, which makes a certain amount of sense.

Obviously, there's actually some of the same developers from the Contra series worked on this for Konami.

more of that later as well obviously at the arcades it was developed and published by konami with the director in charge is hideyuki tujimoto previously worked on jackal also known as top gunner one of my all-time favorites commando in a jeep contra super contra as we say and then he went on for many years to work on the winning 11 or pro evolution soccer series later on r.i.p It was produced by Ozawa-san, who'd previously worked on Gradius III and later worked on Hyper Bishi Bashi Championship Edition, I think it was called.

Mm.

Uh, and an honorary mention maybe to, uh, Sunset Riders, which just has a amazing animated, uh, attract sequence.

Um, the game that you like that most people don't?

Hmm.

And I mean, it, it's still a lot of fun, and, and, and the bosses are, uh, v- are kind of, uh, interesting.

But an- another, uh, another kind of run-and-gun, there's, uh, two of them that I am surprised I did not put down here, but they're kind of very similar games, they're more Western based, is, uh, Sunset Riders and Cowboys of Moo Mesa.

Now Cowboys of Moo Mesa-

Ah

... that's another Saturday morning cartoon show that, uh, got a, a arcade adaptation.

And it's very much kind of in the same, uh, uh, same vein as Sunset Riders, where it's more of on a more 2D plane.

But I mean, it's still very much kind of in the beat 'em up, uh, genre, and it has a lot of the, uh, a lot of the, uh, big bads from the original series.

And I, I think there was even a comic series of it a- for a little while, but-

Of course, there was no tickets or anything 'cause they weren't gonna give prizes away, but it was just arcades.

And that was the first time I actually beat, uh, was it I beat Cowboys from Mesa or Sunset Riders I beat for the first time with my unlimited coins.

I miss that.

Those were, uh, fun times.
