And President Trump and New York City Mayor Zohra Mamdani are moving forward with talks over a massive housing project in Queens.

The proposal would build a platform over Amtrak's Sunnyside Yard with roughly 12,000 housing units constructed above it.

Mamdani says the project could also create about 30,000 jobs, but it would require significant federal approvals and potentially federal funding.

And finally, Republican Senator John Curtis of Utah wants Congress to subpoena both Donald Trump Jr. and Hunter Biden.

And I will continue to have conversations with the president and, frankly, with anyone who can deliver relief to the people of the city.

And to me, you know, in the past meeting, at the meeting we spoke about Sunnyside Yard, we introduced that conversation.

Thirty minutes after the last meeting, he called me to let me know that the list of students that we had put forward to him, that he was going to release one of them.

Soon after that, he released another one of them.

And so today, when we sat down for that meeting at Gracie Mansion, there were a number of things that I wanted to bring up to the president.

Ahead of his speech at the UN today, yesterday, Mayor Mondani and the President met at Gracie Mansion with housing and affordability among the major topics of discussion.

Following the roughly hour-long meeting, the two said that their administrations would continue work on a proposal to build a major new neighborhood above the Sunnyside Yard in Queens.

The mayor said the proposal would eventually create around 12,000 housing units and 30,000 jobs.

The president said the development would require significant federal approvals and potentially federal funding.
