And after that, God's By Your Side by Isaiah Collier.

Up next, a set dedicated to large ensemble tribute releases out on Sunnyside Records.

We start with Oracles, the CD on which pianist Helen Sung relies on her big band to pay homage to musicians who had a direct impact on her life, from Kenny Barron to Jimmy Heath, from Wayne Shorter to Herbie Hancock, to whom the composition Pianism 3 is dedicated.

After that, it's Gaia Wilmer's big band with Parabolico, her third experiment in distilling the essence of seminal Brazilian musicians and mixing it with her own very imaginative arrangements to create something that pays tribute to the spirit more than the letter of the originals.

In part one, we explored the stories and insights behind the decades-long performing and recording career of this renowned artist.

Our focus of this episode centers around his latest solo piano release called Renovation on Sunnyside Records which was recorded live at Dizzy's Club in New York City.

Let's give it up for Benny Green.

This album features 13 tracks and includes eight original compositions, alongside tunes by Bobby Timmons, Randy Weston, Hoagy Carmichael, Frank Lesser, and Matt Dennis and Tom Adair.
