There was a swimmer who is almost undisputed.

He was a world record holder and gold medalist and all that distance swimmer Sun Yang.

I shouldn't say his name on this podcast, but he was it was very much thought to have been doping.

Like the one time they did a blood test at his place.

But when you're next to Popovici and you're staring at him on the block, before you're getting on the block, you know, it is quite daunting.

And I, and I did say this to James, and I, I said, "How did you feel?" And not in an arrogant way, he said, "I was fine." And I said, "Why?" And he went, "Well, I've stared down Ryan Lochte and Sun Yang." He went, "It's just another one of them." Um, and you know, he beat them when he was 19.

So he, he doesn't have a lot of fear, uh, when he's racing people.

He enjoys it, and I think, you know, he, he flourishes in them moments.
