Summer Yates

So, obviously, Pride's interim coach, Yolanda Thomas, made three important changes from the team that lost 4-1 to the Portland Thorns.

Raffaele, Angelina, and Marta were in the starting lineup, replacing, obviously, Hannah Anderson, Ellie Lemos, and Summer Yates.

So, a better night for the lineup of Raffaele, Corey Dyke, and Oiane.

Now, Quite a difference is when you see Raffaele healthy, right? But again, you also wonder how long does she have until she re-injures again, right? Because it's unfortunate because it's been a tale like this all season long.

It's an important place to pay attention to.

And now I wanted to highlight this because I really like Summer Yates.

So you can see she's here with the ball and three defenders close to her paying attention, supposedly closing the spaces for preventing her from shooting.

But still she can find the space.

I remember when she was available to be signed, I really wanted Summer Yates for the Thorns, and it took her a little bit to make an impact, but she's been proving to be important for Orlando, and so shows her quality.

Now it's what I described about Barbara Van absorbing attention.

So she's here with Jada Perry close to her, and she's absorbing so much attention that she gives here teammates.

Obviously, the back line of Kosei Morishie, Haley Mays, Hannah Anderson, Corey Dyke, and Oyane.

Angelina and Ella Limas were the defensive midfielders behind Jackie Ovalle, Haley McCutcheon, and Summer Yates with Banda up top.

It was the first time the Pride have had the same starting lineup back-to-back games since May the 2nd and May the 8th.

So that's very important.

Brought up these players to help band out.

And it doesn't seem like we've gotten to the point to where they're there to use them.

I mean, Summer Yates was doing an incredible job in the beginning.

And like I said, I hope she's all right because she took a bad bump over there.
