That, to me, was sort of like the beginning of it.

US Airways Flight 1549, captained by Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, is forced to land in the Hudson River shortly after takeoff from LaGuardia Airport in New York City due to a double engine failure after striking a flock of Canadian geese.

Miraculously, all 155 people aboard lived, with 100 having minor injuries and five with critical injuries.

All 155 passengers and crew were rescued via New York City fire and police boats and safely brought to local hospitals.

The then Governor of New York State, David Paterson, called the incident the Miracle on the Hudson, and Na- and a National Transportation Safety Board official described it as the most successful ditching in aviation history.

A very decent film dramatization of the event titled Sully and starring Tom Hanks was released in 2016.

Everyone stood on the wings in the water until they got safely rescued and then they got the hell off the water.

I just read Sully's autobiography.

It's very interesting.

He says he started flying when he was about three years of age.

The farmer's plane takes off and they spray the crops.

And then some of them in their spare time, the farmer trains local three-year-olds in flying the plane.
