And then they have stated, Whitechapel stated they're influenced by a wide variety of artists, including, I think all of these make sense, which is weird for this.

Cannibal Corpse, Slipknot, Slayer, Meshuggah, Deftones, Korn, Dying Fetus, Bloodbath, Pantera, Metallica, Suffocation, Despised Icon, Behemoth, Niall, Gojira, Vader, Necrophagous.

Oh, I had a Necrophagous phase.

I remember that.

Um, That would be extremely cool, because they were a huge influence on the earlier Salamoth, and my influences change over the years, but I still love them, so that would be a really cool bridge there to have them.

Let's see, Suffocation, Edge of Sanity, and who would be... uh another or a third um maybe defeated sanity just because like they're so absurd at what they do they're they're literally at the uh we call it the like the height of their powers um so to speak like they're just incredible at what they do and i i unfortunately still haven't seen them um i missed them the last time they came through here just with work and stuff but um What I've heard is they're just absurdly good live, extremely tight, and their music is just extremely technical and brutal.

It just kind of blows my mind that they can pull it off with such precision.

So the first band I heard was Cannibal.

And then Six Feet Under and Supplication.

So to see him in the front row streaming some of the Cannibal songs that we were playing, that was cool to see.

And he's like, that's my dude up there.

Obviously, Nevermind by Nirvana.
