What are you providing to people?
0:43
Basically, our home staging business is provides to people who are on the market to sell their home.
0:53
We provide them with a stress-free service to make moving out of their home and getting their house market ready a little less traumatic than it really has to be.
1:05
We basically start by going in and doing a full consultation of the property.
1:11
We highlight to the client all of the things that need to be addressed in terms of maintenance issues, cleaning issues.
1:19
Some of those things may involve changing out light fixtures just to update them into like the 21st century.
1:26
A lot of the homes we do are like older individuals that are downsizing.
PhilHOST
3:19
Well, Sue, what kind of led you towards all this? What got you started with everything?
GemHOST
12:54
Then you're like, oh, actually, no, it's only jarring because that is an opposition to what we almost always see, which is these very beautiful representations of alcohol.
13:04
Yeah.
13:06
I think we're seeing it increasingly as well, you know, they're kind of adverts, even when it comes to no and low products.
13:12
I think there's a Heineken ad or Heineken Zero that's running currently that basically says, you know, if you watch football, you get more friends, you know, by implication, if you drink Heineken Zero, you get more friends.
13:24
And that kind of advertising is absolutely appalling when we know that, you know, these are kind of cedar brands and people who see that Heineken brand probably see the alcohol brand rather than the no and low brand.
13:34
And I think, you know, for us within the Northeast, as you mentioned, Gem, you know, clearly we start from a lower baseline when it comes to other regions.
13:42
We have the highest health harms, we have the highest hospital admissions, etc.
16:17
But I like your suggestion of, like, we need to call it out stronger to say, like, these are lies and label it for what it is and make that distinction between people who are misled themselves and spreading misinformation versus actors like the alcohol industry who have a vested interest in peddling a certain message.

Yeah.
7:02
I love bread.
7:03
Um, but I actually didn't think the show.
7:07
I've watched every episode of the Great British and the Great American, but it just wasn't something I thought after until a good friend of my youngest daughter sent me the application.
7:19
And she said, "Sue, you need to do this." And I looked at it, and as Adam said on his week, it is not an easy task.
7:28
It's about 75 to 80 questions.
7:33
[laughs]
7:33
They ask you to explain everything.
