When you went to Cambridge, I know I've heard you berate yourself for not trying hard enough, but you've got your degree and you'd done some comedy, you'd met Sue Perkins.

And then I would have hoped that you'd breeze into drama school, but you failed to get in not once but thrice into three

different drama schools.

I was just, I was an absolutely broken old ham under the duvet, just saying, my life is over.

I'm never going to succeed because I hadn't got into drama school.

But if I had gone to drama school, then I wouldn't have worked with the marvellous Sue Perkins.

So in a way, it was a good thing.

I think it's about like 20 to 30% of the population are what are called natural somnambulists or highly hypnotizable subjects or highly imaginative people.

I work as a hypnotist, so I see this all the time where there's some people who do immediately drop it and they're like, oh my God, I can smell the chalk from the chalkboard and Susie Perkins is sitting two rows ahead of me and she's got red berets in her hair and it's a wild experience.

But I think that's The assumption that we all have the same neurology and we're all going to have the same experience makes it really hard.

We're trying to beat your head against the wall.
