Oh, is that what it was? Because I'm like looking at it and I'm like, does anything else look like this? Because I'm like, I remember when there was like a Sabrina the Teenage Witch thing that was very, very obviously influenced by like anime and manga.

And, like, sometimes there has been art styles in Archie that you can tell that inspiration of.

But I'm like, what the fuck was the inspiration for this? Like, what? I

don't know.

Like, so aesthetic.

And the pin-up page is amazing.

And then, like, whatever, all the other art styles, like, the new look and everything that came after that.

I mean, like, sure, try something new, but, like, if any broke, don't fix it.

Um, so that was my thinking, and it's, you know, encouraging to hear that, that hopefully that, that emotional arc is coming through.

Uh, I wanted to ask you about your art style a little bit.

Obviously, your style is your style.

Uh, but you have definitely a cartoony take, and I don't say that dismissively.

But you show off actually at least two art styles in the book because before the kids, you have a more portrait-style look at them, a slightly more realistic look.

Uh, basically, like, looking at some of the art styles they've done over the past, hearing you guys bag on cel shading, I'm looking at it going, "Would that really be a bad thing?" I mean, freaking Budokai did cel shading for the second game.
