Sturgeon Bay

Um, well, so personally about me, I'm originally from Sturgeon Bay.

Go Clippers.

I'm a lifelong Northeast Wisconsin resident.

Making art in a small town is a breath of fresh air.

Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin is a city of bees.

They're everywhere.

And after a month living there, I came out stung by the purity and joy of my experience.

We'll be in Rochester on Tuesday for a screening at the historic Chateau Theater.

Later next week, I think Friday, we'll be up in Door County at Civic Center, I think, in, in Sturgeon Bay.

Cool.

Following week, uh, I won't be able to attend, but, uh, I'll be out of town, uh, for, uh, a family reunion.

Now I do have, I'm working on new songs now for a new album for next year.

And Eric will be, he's playing drums on some of those.

And I'm sure I'll ask Dan to probably put something here or there, but I do use a lot of session guys that I've met over the years that I've used over the years from Nashville that have been on most of those recordings or former band members who lived here in Sturgeon Bay.

But we couldn't book the Airbnb over the weekend, 'cause it was whatever.

We ended up staying there Monday, Tuesday night, and we got a hotel in Sturgeon Bay, which is basically, you're on the doorstep of Door County.

Yeah.

Or you're in Door County, but you're not in, like, the touristy area yet.

Yeah.

Um, up in Door County, it's all kind of...

I mean, if you've been there before, I, I suppose maybe our listeners haven't, but, um, Sturgeon Bay is kinda like just a big town.
