But out of church history of all the pastors, theologians, writers, revivalist preachers, and so forth, Jonathan Edwards has definitely had the most impact in my life.

And so I want to go over the basic contours of Edwards' life, his thinking, his ministry, and so forth, especially since the Jonathan Edwards Study Bible has just recently come out by Thomas Nelson.

And many of you have already picked up a copy of the Jonathan Edwards Study Bible.

And so I thought that this particular video might also serve as an excellent introduction.

There are, of course, introductions to Edwards in the Study Bible itself.

But because the Study Bible just recently came out, I thought now would be the time to go ahead and do an introductory video into Edwards' life and his basic life.
