Studio C

Here's a weird, here's a question.

After getting a little Mormon famous from Studio C, people, I think when they meet me, they have a very different expectation of what I act like.

Okay.

What do they think you're going to act like? I think they think I'm going to be more fun than I am.

how much longer do you think you're going to live? That's how many family members are on the line if you don't convert somebody.

That's going to age me though.

What if Studio C counted? Like anytime someone found out about the church from Studio C.

Oh, but I'm sorry.

Thanks for helping us do that.

Coming up next, offensive lineman Sonny Makasini will join us here in Studio C as BYU football with Kalani Sitake continues to stay with us.

Welcome back.

All right, our special guest tonight played his high school football at nearby Tempview.

He came to BYU as a walk-on, then earned a scholarship, and is now one of the indispensable parts of the Cougars' excellent offensive line.

Please welcome into Studio C, Sonny Makasini.

Thanks for being here.

So I mentioned high school, and if I'm not mistaken, I think you were in the class of 2019.

A couple of things factored into my sense that I just didn't want to do a devotional right now.

First, I've always sort of dreamed that my debut on BYUtv would be some kind of guest cameo spot on Studio C, and I just wasn't ready to give up on my dream.

If any of you know me and if any of you know Studio C, you know that my whole life would be a treasure trove of material for new awkward avoidance Viking sketches.

Second, and this only held slightly more sway in my decision-making process, I just didn't know what I would say at the devotional, and that really weighed on me.

I thought about all the past devotionals that have been so memorable.

but I still don't know what I was going to say.

I just couldn't shake the feeling of how good past devotionals have been or the feeling of wondering if I could measure up.

This might be my one shot, I thought, on the off chance, of course, that the Studio C thing doesn't pan out.

Now that is how you end an interview.

[upbeat music] Well, you know Sean's gonna be tuning into BYU football with Kalani Sitake, and it's back tonight as the head coach and Therion Alexander III join Greg Wrubell live in Studio C to look back on the dramatic upset victory over Notre Dame, and look ahead to Saturday's matchup in Orlando at UCF.

That's tonight at 8:30 Eastern on the BYUtv app.

Trey's gonna kill that.

Oh.

Today's tape day, and Studio C on the free BYUtv app.

Very good.

I know.

Fun to watch.

All right, BYU football with Kalani Sitake is back tonight as the head coach, and linebacker Jake Clifton joined the voice of the Cougars, Greg Wrubell, in Studio C to preview Friday's game against Iowa State.

That's tonight at 8:30 Eastern on the BYUtv app.

After the break, I unveil my week five edition of the King of the 12.
