Because also, like, my guy, most of the success of this is based on the fact that, uh, half the fandom thinks everyone in these movies is gay.
Rosie KnightHOST
10:53
Like, Stucky is the reason that your movies are so popular, my guy.
Jason ConcepcionHOST
10:57
On playing it himself, "We felt it was important that one of us play him to ensure the integrity and show it was important to the filmmakers that one of us is representing that."
Rosie KnightHOST
11:05
That's cute.
Sebastian StanGUEST
34:24
And so it was great, fun yeah.
Josh HorowitzHOST
34:26
I would, I would think we're gonna get a, a lot of reunions, none more important than a Bucky-Steve first reunion, to see you guys back together, to see that first moment.
Sebastian StanGUEST
34:34
There's a, there's a lot of reunions.
Sebastian StanGUEST
34:36
I, I can't believe it's like public knowledge that he's in the movie now, right? I mean, 'cause he's admitted it, I mean-
Chad HickeyHOST
55:57
Okay.
Rachel LowensteinGUEST
55:58
Um, there is a theory that Heated Rivalry started as Stucky fan fiction, which is Steve, um, and Bucky Barnes from-
Chad HickeyHOST
56:06
[laughs] I'm not a fanboy
Rachel LowensteinGUEST
56:07
...
Rachel LowensteinGUEST
56:21
It started as fan fiction of those two guys who are, like, friends slash, like, arch nemeses at certain points, them in a relationship together.
Chad HickeyHOST
56:30
Okay.
Rachel LowensteinGUEST
56:30
There is a long-held theory that she started, 'cause she was writing Stucky, the author, Rachel Reid, was writing Stucky fan fiction on AO3, the fan fiction website.
Chad HickeyHOST
56:38
Okay.
Diego CrespoHOST
51:00
one.
Diego CrespoHOST
51:01
Well, to go back to the Tumblr conversation, I remember the heydays of Stucky, especially leading into Civil War.
Matt GoringoHOST
51:07
My God.
Matt GoringoHOST
51:08
That one kind of missed me until fairly recently.
Matt GoringoHOST
51:12
I did not know how dominant it was.
Matt GoringoHOST
51:15
Oh, yeah.
Matt GoringoHOST
51:15
I was aboard the Stucky train.
Matt GoringoHOST
51:17
I was like, no, no, that
AmandaHOST
74:03
Yeah.
AmandaHOST
74:06
Until the tags got overrun with Stucky.
AmandaHOST
74:11
Which I don't dislike.
AmandaHOST
74:14
But.
Rosie KnightHOST
64:49
So I really like that.
Rosie KnightHOST
64:51
And I think that the Bucky-Steve relationship has to be back at the forefront for Doomsday.
Rosie KnightHOST
64:58
And I'm hoping that them including this puts that there because after he chose sam which i'm a sam wilson stan in the comics i always wanted him to be captain america i think it's great they made him captain america but in the movies it felt like it was odd that he didn't choose bucky to some people right and especially because they had a relationship or he didn't even acknowledge it wasn't a conversation where bucky and him chose together and were like sam's the better guy which is true So I think that maybe them including this and then your read on the potential of the Bucky-Steve parallels, maybe they're going to be bringing that back to the forefront in whatever way.
Rosie KnightHOST
65:33
So that's like another one, another thing I would love to see as this heads into Tuesday.
Jason ConcepcionHOST
65:39
The last thing I noticed is that You kind of forget how close Steve and Howard were.
ViviHOST
34:06
