... a, a game in a week, and then let alone a season, right? So I, I knew it was time, and, um, I made the decision kind of overnight after the 2017 season.

And, uh, I was like, "Okay, what's next?" And so I had a, uh, Shaw Brown, who was a producer and, and he said, "Charlie, I think you have a future in TV." Stu Holden, one of my best friends, he's like, "I think you have a future in TV." And so I kind of just started to do as much as I could.

So, um, working in, at MLS actually was my first media job alongside, uh, hosting a show for the New England Revolution.

And, uh, I, I, I realized it's all about reps, getting comfortable, and, and, uh, I had some good coaches to give me a, a, a good foundation.

Uh, Lamine's World Cup bothers me more than others.

Stu Holden was here.

He made the case for Yamal.

He downplayed his struggles at the World Cup.

I think he's very competent.

I like him better than I do John Strong, who's the main USA guy who called all of the US games in the World Cup along with Stu Holden.

Um, the TNT broadcast is pretty good.

I must admit, I got used to having Stu Holden around.

I kind of miss him today.

Well, you know, we, we talked so much about this unique two-and-a-half week window, and, you know, there was unique both on and off the field.

And to have Stu on a continual basis showing up, yeah, I got used to him too.

But you know, he's got a million different...

You never know with Stu.

He's always on the road somewhere.
