I grew up a place, in a place called Stroud in Gloucestershire.

Oh, yes.

I know Stroud.

Yeah, it's quite alternative.

Heaven on earth.

So it's in Stroud.

And you know when you go away somewhere.

It's called the Jolly Nice Farm Shop.

Yeah.

And it's around Stroud, there's some really cool activists, but they're all a bit mad.

I'm with you on New England.

It really is.

And Ryan's is a great head coach.

Our guest this time on The Elder Well is John James Howell, also known as J.J. Middleway, most often simply J.J. J.J. is a celebrant, ritualist and poet based in Stroud in the West Country of England.

He is father of four children and seven grandchildren in partnership with a woman, Polly, who he calls his greatest teacher during the 53 years since they first met.

For much of his life, J.J. has been significantly influenced by Sufism, Shamanism and what he has come to call Silly Foolism.

Where I am in the world, there's many ways of answering that.

Let me keep it fairly concise.

I'm in Stroud in Gloucestershire.

I live in a lovely little rented cottage called Field Cottage in the Slad Valley, which has become very dear to my heart over the years I've been here.

We did the last one, the first one, um, in Stroud in November.

We've literally this week- weekend just gone, um, completed the Brighton New Age to Jesus conference.
