that number one if you're somebody who's never watched the show or not too much familiar with the x-men lore uh it might be a little tough to grab onto and care about some things but also if you're a big fan you want to see some people kind of

at least get a little more time um like a lot of the x-factor guys like but i know towards the end of the season we get a little bit more from strong man or a strong guy from uh multiple lands some things like that but We're focused a lot on Lorna, which I understand.

The news media reports on the new mutant group known as X-Factor featuring Havoc, Cyclops' brother, Polaris, Multiple Man, Strong Guy, and Wolfsbane.

Dr. Valerie Cooper is in charge of the government-sanctioned team who use them to capture runaway mutants hoping to seek shelter with the X-Men.

So, we've encountered the never-aging Havoc before in the Foxmen films and a bit in the cartoon, and Multiple Man in one of the Fox movies, but what about the other three? And who the hell named him Strong Guy? Yeah,

he's a strong guy.

They're all strong guys.

Have you seen their muscles?

Not all of them, no. He's a very strong guy.

So meanwhile, in the '90s, in the absence of the X-Men, Cable, Psylock, Psylock and Archangel plan a new team to stop Apocalypse.

And Dr. Valerie Cooper fields a US government sanctioned team of mutants called X-Factor, featuring Havok, Polaris, Multiple Man, Strong Guy, and Wolfsbane.

Cooper uses them to capture runaway young mutants who are hoping to seek shelter with the X-Men.

Cable recruits Jubilee and Sunspot to join his own team, X-Force, and they track down War, one of Apocalypse's horsemen.

Strong Guy, Multiple Man?

So we, we had in this-

This was a book that was about Kurt Wagner.

and Cannonball, neither of whom are in, I mean, X-Factor's in this, Strong Guy gets a couple of, so the team at the time, now, I was reading all of these at the time.

At the time, I was reading X-Factor, and I was reading Excalibur, and I was reading X-Men, so I was able to follow it all, But if you were just a fan of X Factor because this is the storyline that you're on, whatever they were doing last month, you're not going to get to learn about this month.

And you're not going to learn about it for three more months because this went on for three months.

and the issue opens up with like the X-Men having something mysterious has happened to them Xavier got to this fancy island and he's invited both or not both all Excalibur X-Force and X-Factor together and it's like the first time these teams have come together And so you get some quick, like fun team to Maddox.

Cause I'm like, if you're going to mix these characters, give us some combos we haven't seen.

And so we get like strong guy trying to punch people immediately and being like, Oh, I was just joking.

And it's like, all right.

He's a difficult one to assess, really, because you see him a lot in later issues.
