Strong Bad

Taika was there in everything, don't you remember?

Yeah, Strong Bad and the Heavy Weapons guy.

Yeah, they were all at Claptrap.

All of them.

Okay, let's try some Homestar and see how we do here.

Described by creator Matt Chapman as an adorable evil sidekick, what small, yellow Homestar Runner character speaks in a series of squeaks and noises that can somehow be understood by Strong Bad? And Strong Mad, I understand.

[laughs] He, he looks like a cheese.

[laughs]

Yeah.

And, uh, what we ended up doing is just watching Strong Bad's emails.

Like-

Oh my God

All these like, you know, gothy people, we're just like, "Oh, emails." [laughs]

[laughs]

Just Strong Bad emails.

Strong Bad.

And Jens Benolio, a financial researcher from San Francisco, California, whose one-day cash winnings totaled $10,801.

That was Strong Bad who said California.

California.

I don't make the rules.

It's really just...

Reminds me of Strong Bad.

Yeah, I showed you Strong Bad, but you weren't into it.

But there was a...

He had the...

Because the whole premise of...

Well, what got...

I think what got Strong Bad the most famous was answering emails so he must have been famous before that because he was getting fan mail but how i learned about him and how most people i know learned about him was through this female strong bad email um and in one point they asked him how like what would he look like if he was an anime drawing or something like that and so he's like well the first thing is i need to be a bean And so it's like, this has been something people have been making fun of for a long time, because Strong Bad is old.

Then that's definitely something

Strong Bad said that I have just always...

I'm pretty sure he was like, something, the obligatory sequel.

And then I just always think about that when I think about Mojo 2, the sequel.

like how you gave him a little Spanish accent there.

That was good.

Yeah, because I was doing a Strong Bad.

Strong Bad's kind of a luchador.

There's something going on there.

And then Strong Bad's cool game for attractive people.

Did not know they worked on

that.

It's from a little web show from the dawn of the internet called Homestar Runner.

More specifically, Strong Bad's, I think it was Strong Bad's email,

right? Yeah.

They're back, by the way.

Nice.

Yeah.

Yeah, between Trogdor the Burninator and Strong Bad's representation of all kind of 90s EDM music.

Yeah, amazing.
